Reducing Waste and Promoting Recycling
We are dedicated to reducing non-recyclable waste across our homes and office spaces. By adhering to the principles of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle,’ we encourage all in our homes to help contribute to a cleaner, greener future. Each property is equipped with recycling facilities to properly sort and dispose of materials like paper, plastic, and glass.
Conserving Energy and Lowering Consumption
Through careful energy management, we set annual reduction targets for electricity and gas use across all properties. Our teams and residents are encouraged to switch off lights, heating, and appliances when not in use. With plans to introduce solar power across our properties by 2027, we are moving towards creating energy-efficient homes that support the UK’s sustainability commitments.
Sustainable Travel Practices
To reduce the environmental impact of our company vehicles, we have set annual mileage reduction targets. Our goal is to transition to a fully hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) fleet by 2028, aligning our transport choices with our environmental values. Staff are also encouraged to minimise commuting wherever possible, reducing our collective carbon footprint. All of our Homes have EV chargers available for staff and professionals.

As we work towards a paperless office, we increasingly use digital policies, procedures, and communications to cut down on paper use. By adopting e-procurement and e-tendering processes, we reduce our environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency.
